Missions & Outreach
The vision of the Missions & Outreach team is to see disciples of Jesus Christ raised up among the unreached, unevangelized, poor and oppressed people of our world through partnerships focused on establishing and nurturing the local church from our neighborhoods to the nations.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes
on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8
Our values lie in three key areas-
Prayer, which is foundational to our work (James 5:16), necessary for individual transformation through Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:6) and essential for laborers entering the harvest (Matthew 9:37).
People, as we focus on the least reached, least evangelized people of the world (Mark 16:15) we are committed to serving the poor and oppressed (Luke 4:18), effectively educating and mobilizing people at Calvary, both short-term and career (Romans 10:15) and developing long term relationships with our partners.
Partnerships, in that we align our resources to focus on establishing local churches (Acts 2:26), are committed to local churches and their outreach to communities (Acts 13:1) and work to establish strategic partnerships among people groups with national church and leadership.
