OUR MINISTRIES
Missio Dei
Missio Dei is a community of college students and young adults who want to do life together. We gather on Sunday mornings at 11:15 in the Chapel for worship, discussion and fellowship.
MISSIO DEI SPRING RETREAT (April 4-6)
Have you ever noticed how often the Bible talks about joy and delight? For example, in Psalm 16:11 David writes that eternal pleasures await us at God's right hand. If we believe this to be true (and it is!), why do we so often try to stuff ourselves full of lesser things that leave us empty? This weekend we plan to focus on the joy that is ours in God. Not only will you have the chance to laugh a lot and build deeper friendships, you will also get to worship through music and hear great teaching from the Bible about the delights available to us in God. (Plus, the zip line is waiting!) Come join us this weekend as we pull away from the routine to find more joy in our Savior and Maker, Jesus Christ.
Find out more about the spring retreat and how to sign up by visiting the MISSIO DEI SPRING RETREAT website. See you there.
As a community we desire to be about...
Worship
We proclaim as a community and individually that, truly, Jesus is Lord. We love Him and want to show it. So we sing, we read, we listen, we pray. We come to Him facedown, expecting that He will meet with us.
Service
Jesus took a low position and accepted suffering in order to serve us. Following Jesus means we must do the same. We will wash feet, love the hurting and give to the poor, in His name.
Spirituality
We receive new life upon believing the gospel, but that is just the beginning. God desires that each of us grow to full maturity. Together we want to hear from God. As we respond we will live, think and feel in ways that are more like Jesus.
Love
When Jesus died on the cross, He put love on display. Now that He has risen from the dead, His determination to love humanity continues. We want to experience God's love in our lives. And having experienced it, we desire to love God back and love others in the way He loves us.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching"
Hebrews 10:24-25
