Calvary Church

Equipping followers of Jesus to impact their world to the delight of God.

Family Life

..."as for me and my household, we will serve for the Lord" (Joshua 24:15).

Personal Growth and Healing Workshops
Personal Growth and Healing Workshops provide an environment of safety, openness, acceptance, love and support where people can learn, grow, make healing changes and connect with God and others. Workshops are offered in the fall and spring and cover topics from love and relationships to gaining wisdom from God as we begin our faith journey.

Marriage Prep
We believe it is necessary to know as much about each other going into marriage as possible. It is important to know each other's strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, as well as faith and fears, in order to build your relationship into all that God intended it to be. If you plan to be married at Calvary Church or have a Calvary pastor perform the ceremony, this class is required.

Remarriage Workshop
Why a Remarriage Workshop? 60% of all second marriages end in divorce and 85% of all third marriages end in divorce. Current statistics have proven that when both parties are open to personal and spiritual growth, attending remarriage workshops and Christian counseling, these statistics decrease dramatically to as low as 15-20%. This remarriage workshop is designed to give couples a realistic look at issues of remarriage and blending a family.

For more information on when these workshops are being offered, please contact Jan Dykstra at 956-9377.
